About us
jusTT was founded by two passionate table tennis enthusiasts, Luke and Simon, who saw a need for change in the table tennis ecosystem in Johannesburg. Frustrated with the lack of opportunities for players of all levels to improve their game and connect with like-minded individuals, they decided to take matters into their own hands and create a space that would cater to everyone. With their shared vision of making table tennis more accessible, enjoyable, and inclusive, they set out to create a revolutionary experience partner for players of all ages and skill levels. Today, jusTT is the result of their hard work and dedication, offering a range of programs and events that bring the joy of table tennis to the Johannesburg community. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, jusTT is the place to be for anyone who loves this fast-paced and exhilarating sport.
Simon is a serious table tennis enthusiast. Simon has represented Gauteng and Wits in national tournaments as well as played in Maccabi's table tennis A-team in Gauteng's premier league. He boasts 8 years of coaching experience and is the co-director of jusTT. During the day, Simon pretends to be an engineer and flawlessly transfers his skills to the table tennis world in the form of sharing fundamental understanding of sport with those that he coaches and drives the sport forward through a tech driven approach.
Luke can only be described as a table tennis pro and sales manager (during the day). He played for Soderhamn in the Swedish 2nd division where they won the league. He represented South Africa at the All Africa Games, Commonwealth Games and World Table Tennis Championships. His passion for coaching earned him a place as a National team coach where he coached the Youth team at the World Youth Championship, African Championships and finally the head coach and team manager at Deaflympic games.
Luke's table tennis knowledge and experience is available to jusTT members as he leads as a co-director.
